HLS Downloader is a media download and management tool that works on your device. The developer does not operate analytics, advertising, or tracking services and does not receive your download history or browsing history.
Information Processed by the App
- Selected webpages, playlists, media URLs, request headers, and cookies are processed and stored on device for analysis, downloading, resuming, and local playback.
- Downloads, task records, UserScripts, and settings remain in the device or App Group container until deleted or the app is uninstalled.
- The Safari extension identifies media only on websites you authorize. Website access can be revoked at any time.
- Apple processes StoreKit purchases. The app does not receive full payment-card details.
Network Requests
Media requests go directly to websites you select, and purchase requests go directly to Apple. This support site uses no analytics, tracking, cookies, accounts, or feedback forms.
Support Communications
If you email support or create a GitHub Issue, the developer receives the contact details, description, and attachments you provide. Email services and GitHub process that information under their respective privacy policies. Do not submit cookies, authorization headers, private media URLs, or other sensitive data.
Deletion and Responsibility
You can delete tasks, media, and UserScripts or uninstall the app to remove container data. You can request deletion of support correspondence through the original channel. You are responsible for having rights to process content and for following applicable law and website terms.
